Summary: From the establishment of the Moniuszko Singing Society to the Polskie Koło Śpiewackie, Chopins, Kalinas, and Echo Society, Western New York’s Polish singers have entertained the masses and maintained the history and culture of their Polish forebears. The evening’s presentation will cover the major singing societies of Buffalo as well as the groups that enthralled the region’s outlying areas. It will also cover the historic, cultural, and architectural impact the organizations had locally, regionally, and nationally.
